Now I know...

I bring this special report on why 'Ah Balling' is called as such. My Mom just told me its becoz of an ang moh who happened to pass by someone preparing this dessert and exclaimed,'Ah its boiling its boiling!' As everyone know our forefathers and foremothers have little knowledge about english so they named the dessert as Ah Balling. Apparently my mom heard about this from her mom, my grandma so there should be some truth in it then.
