Grp project

Everytime when it comes to doing project i always prefer to work alone, or at least with people i trust to be able to do work. I'm taking a critical thinking & writing module like all eng students need to take and due to some circumstances i'm doing with 2 viets on it. If u had read abt mi previous post in friendster, 1 of them has a bad command in the english compared to the other. But after working together for a few weeks, discussing and improving our draft, the one with better english is apparently an irresponsible person. Prior to the submission of 1st draft, he was supposed to hand in his part of the assignment, trimmed to within the word limit before i can write the conclusion and hand it in the next morning, he was supposed to send it to me before monday with the weekend to finish his work but he didn't. So i told him to send it to me before 9pm since i had german lect and i prob reach home at 9, so 9pm came and no email in sight, so i called him and he actually forgot abt it and went Bugis. Nvm, so i said try to send it to me by 11pm since our lesson is at 8am the next day and i normally sleep before 12. In the end he sent it to me at 11.30pm and it was the untrimmed version i saw on friday, leaving me with just 30 words to write the conclusion, his excuse was only the original text brings his idea across so no choice i had to be the one trimming it(thanks to our education system having summary in O'levels). Well let's just say i slept at around 2am and woke up at 6.30am to reach NUS at 8am.

Incident 2, happened today... final draft due on friday and last thur we had a meeting to discuss how we're going to revamp our 1st draft and we came up with the deadline on monday 8am so we could discuss and improve somemore before friday. At 11am, seeing no email from him again, i had to call him and apparently he haven't done it, saying there's some presentation this afternoon, he can really come up with excuses man. The other guy had no problem meeting the deadline by the way, he sent his part on saturday. So i had to 'force' him to send his part to me by tml, i really dislike such irresponsible people. i sms him that it was fine if he doesn't want to do it, i can always write his part, and i'm gonna tell mi tutor abt it i he misses the next deadline. actually mi tutorknew a bit of wad's happening cos he asked me abt it before and he too finds this guy rather bossy and stuff and feels pity for me. Ok, so he replied that i'm very singaporean and really spoils his spirit(i have no idea wad the 2nd line meant), so i rebutted him tat this isn't a nationality problem and since he could meet the deadline of other proj why can't he meet this and he actually pulling the rest of the grp down. Then maybe he repented(maybe) and replied tat he will send it to be by tml. So i replied in the same words,"I hope you will keep your word THIS TIME"

Actually i admit i was a little mean, but seriously i could be meaner... to be honest i've mellowed alot since the secondary sch days and esp after the serving NS. i didn't want to take such extreme measures but he left mi with no choice man. He can flung for all i care but i hope to get an A for this man. For those who dunno, this grp proj weighs 21% of the total grade. Anyway his compatriot just sms me saying he wanted to meet him, he's prob fed up with him too, yeah, let's ostracize him!
